Singing in front of people you know can be a nerve wracking experience and sometimes even hardened professionals dont enjoy performing to a room full of people they know well.

When you are recording think about having as few people at the session as possible, just involve the people who need to be there. The sames goes for your first few gigs…go easy on yourself and keep your friends in the dark until you are more confident!
