The first thing to do is to keep it simple when recording your voice. This episode we talk about getting a straight forward recording using a two track recorder, perhaps using a cassette ,mini disc or laptop.

Then you will need to get your hands on a decent microhone, inbuilt mics are nearly always rubbish and will not do a good job of recording your voice. If you have a favorite mic that you use live it will usually do a reasonable job in a recording.
